I will refine my research question, by talking about the 20th and the 21st century, Not to say it's perfect, but I will basically its pretty much refined, but there is always a way to change things and make them for the better. I am always up to a challenge. Making the topic or question specific is the best way to make this a good question, I will push for my group to talk specifically about cell phones, and laptops as the technology into question. I also think it would be necessary to talk about the certain websites or pages brought up and how has it evolved over time. Today, there are many different things that has and have changed modern culture to everything from Ipods to tablets which are almost like a portable computer, and everything included like the cotton gin from the older days to the knife to other basic materials that started and originated in the past times. Technology is not just electronics. According to Webster technology is defined as tools or methods that aide in the production of or the mechanics of a item. Technology has changed our society and in more ways than one has it done that, the world would not be what it is today without it.

You're absolutely right that "technology" is any tool or method to get something done! Since everyone in your group will work on a different specific research question, you don't all have to focus to the same technology... But you'll all need to narrow to a specific type of tech!
ReplyDeleteIf you want to examine changes over time related to "technology", you'll need to choose a specific technology to focus on. You'll also need to define what type of changes you're talking about -- cell phones have affected the way people in the US communicate, but they've also affected African communities where they mine some of the rare minerals that are used in making cell phones. So what type of changes (who, when, where) are you looking at in relation to which specific technology?
